Some 236 civilians were killed in Yemen in April making it the “deadliest” month for the war-torn state this year, a United Nations briefing note revealed today.

At least eight civilians have been killed in Yemen in two new Saudi airstrikes that targeted the country’s province of Ibb.

The UN human rights office said on Thursday that Saudi warplanes have mainly targeted civilians in Yemen, accusing the regime of violating international law.

One explosive laden vehicle which security forces try to stop it, exploded in the entrance and security check point of Sayyidah Zaynab shrine on the outskirts of Damascus.
