An adviser to Iran’s foreign minister denied rumors about conflicting voices in Iran on the Palestinian resistance, stressing that no internal discord would prevent Iranians from supporting Palestine.
Iranian people are united and unanimous when it comes to the leading issues, such as the issue of Palestine, even if there are disagreements on the internal affairs, Hossein Sheikholeslam, an adviser of Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in an interview with Al-Resalah.
Denouncing the enemy’s efforts to spread rumors about Iranian people’s partial opposition to the Palestinian resistance movement, Sheikholeslam said such attempts will go nowhere.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has already described the issue of Palestine as the prime concern of the Muslim world, saying the world’s arrogant powers, spearheaded by the US, provoke regional conflicts to make Israeli occupation of Palestine fade into oblivion.
“Palestine is the Islamic world’s pivotal issue, and no Muslim and even non-Muslim country with human conscience should forget it,” Imam Khamenei said in July 2016.
