A meeting of Pakistani scholars and religious and cultural figures underlined the need for enhancing unity among Muslims.
The meeting, held at the Iranian Cultural Center in Quetta, with Ambassador Mehdi Honardoost and a number of other Iranian officials in attendance.
The participants discussed issues like the message of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Islamic unity, and the common cultural grounds between Iran and Pakistan.
They also reiterated the need for judicious moves to promote unity among Muslims.
Honardoost in a speech highlighted the Islamic Republic of Iran’s call for unity and efforts to improve cooperation and ties between the two countries.
